Deanne has a wealth of management accounting experience, writing and delivering a number of in-house and external financial courses and delivering individual tuition to senior management. As with all Onestudy tutors, having worked extensively in her field, she is able to bring practical experience to bear when discussing technical financial concepts. Deanne is passionate about learning and believes that everyone should have access to good lecturing when preparing for the challenge of professional accountancy qualifications – both her caring, mentoring approach and her ability to bring her subjects alive will ensure that all students fully participate in learning the principles behind the numbers. As a result, Deanne is a greatly respected addition to the Onestudy ACCA team.
Spare Time InterestsDeanne is pretty handy at most racket sports (except Squash as, by her own admission, she can’t do it very well…!!). Her current major passion at the moment, is running and she is constantly trying to beat her personal best. 2009 is likely to see her tackle a half marathon as long as the training schedule does not kill her. Deanne is also a major culture fiend and has a penchant for all things in the creative arts. She chose to do her Masters in English, rather than Business, in order to expand her range of interests beyond the numerical.
