Jayne Howson

BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance

 Jayne moved on from her career as an Audit senior with Coopers and Lybrand (now PwC) Bristol in 1990 to become a full time lecturer and training consultant. Her career in this spans 20 years, during which time Jayne was director and Centre Manager of ATC in Bristol, heading a small team who concentrated on teaching ICAEW and AAT qualifications for a number of clients in the South West. Jayne then moved onto freelance teaching for four years before being offered a permanent position as tutor and business development manager in Kaplan Bristol. She was there until recently where her roles included teaching ICAEW, CIMA and ACCA from foundation to advanced level papers as well as course management responsibilities. She teaches a range of subjects including management accounting, financial accounting, financial strategy and taxation.
Due to her extensive tutoring experience, Jayne has also held exam marking posts for a number of professional bodies.

 Jayne enjoys spending her spare time with her family and friends. She loves walking, reading and the odd cryptic crossword.
